Advertisement/Tribute Order Form

28th Pacific Coast Singing and Yodeling Festival, July 10-13, 2014

The Mannerchor Edelweiss of the Swiss Sportsmen’s Club of Tacoma is hosting the 28th Pacific Coast Swiss Yodeling and Singing Festival, July 10-13, 2014. We are preparing a Souvenir Program Book to celebrate this festival and invite you to participate by placing an advertisement and/or tribute which directly supports this event. This is a great opportunity to honor our ancestors, families, friends, and others who through their examples instilled our own love of Swiss singing and culture. Consider precious old pictures and/or take advantage of new picture opportunities during this holiday season when friends and families gather. Please submit as early as you can but no later than April 1, 2014.

Steps to place your ads/tributes:

1. Make them print ready

• Colored ads/tributes are offered at the same price as black & white
•  Materials accepted are: Photos – color and black & white as well as art work.
• There is always some degradation in quality when sending art that needs to be scanned.
• Preferred Software Programs: Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
• MS WORD is acceptable.
• All linked files and fonts must be included.
• PDF is the preferred format for electronically submitted ads. Please embed fonts and use the "High Quality Print" setting when making a PDF.
• TIF, EPS, and JPG are also acceptable but must be 300dpi.
  

2. Check the box indicating the size of your ad:

• Full Page (7 1/2" x 10") $395 Half Page (7 1/2" x 4 3/4") $295
  
• 1/4 Page (3 5/8" x 4 3/4") $195 Rectangular 1/4 1/4 Page (7 1/2" x 2 1/4") $195 Horizontal
  
• 1/8 Page (3 5/8” x 2 1/4") $ 95 Business card size
  
• Payments for personal tributes are not tax deductible as donations. Business ad payments follow normal IRS guidelines.

If you, or someone you know, is well acquainted with some of the recommended

software tools referenced herein and have an interest in helping others, please give

us a call. We are seeking youth volunteers who know and regularly use these types of software tools, to assist family members and others with their “initial” preparation for submission. Our Graphic Artists will take it from there.

Dear Sir/Madam:

We would like to share with you an exciting opportunity to be a part of the 28th Pacific Coast Swiss Singing and Yodeling Festival. The Swiss Sportmen's Club of Tacoma is the host organization for festival that will take place July 10th through 13th, 2014 in Tacoma.

Every three years the choirs of the United Swiss Singing Societies of the Pacific Coast gather to continue the tradition of Swiss Singing and Yodeling. The Hotel Murano will be our host hotel with the highlight of the festival, the Grand Concert, being performed in The Pavilion at the adjacent premises. On stage will be over z5o singers from our nine member clubs plus two guest clubs from Canada in traditional Swiss costume performing an A capela concert sung in the four languages of Switzerland. Yodelers from Switzerland and well as our member clubs will delight our audienee of nearly 1,ooo guests with their lively unique talents.

We are asking you to consider being a sponsor of our event. In return for your sponsorship, you will receive a website posting, a full page ad in our festival souvenir book, banner recognition at our registration and souvenir sales area for the four day event, as well as at the Swiss Sportmen's Club in Bonney Lake during the Saturday performances by the individual choirs where we anticipate over 1,Soo guests.
