  Here is some more info

Hello singers going to kelowna,

The president of the Vernon Swiss Society, Lily Senn,   gave me some information regarding two wineries in the Kelowna area (one beside Sita's Place in Winfield).  Below is the info  for those singers or carpool people who would like to visit one of these wineries on Sunday May 5th in the afternoon.  For more info about the tours call the winery directly if you are interested.
All carpools to kelowna organize their own departure time from Vancouver.  The Concert hall at the Parkinsons Rec Center on 1800 Parkinson Way will open the doors at 5:30 - We will need to be on site no later than 4:30 in Tracht for a rehearsal.  There will be a supper available for a small fee.  Those who bring partners along,  the tickets for the Concert are $20 and can be reserved at 1 250 764-6188.
I believe that all carpools have been sorted out last night at rehearsal.  This trip should be lots of fun, bring your dancing shoes along, Al Pichler will be offering dance music after the concert.

For the Victoria trip, Ric Fischer has hats Or T-shirts for all who participate in the Parade - he needs size of T-shirts for people, I have sizes for most of our singers.  We will be marching (or riding on the float)  in Tracht or Chotteli but the hats or t-shirts are just a souvenir  gift for all who participate in the parade.  If you have friends who plan to come to the Victoria May long weekend for the dinner Concert and parade please contact Ric Fischer at ulrich.fischer @ shaw.ca  - please pass on the information regarding hats or T-shirts to people who go to Victoria.

Please bring the money for your 5 SOLD June 15  Concert tickets next week.  We will map out a strategy to reach other people and come up with a phone blitz to talk to people directly.  Think of 5 people you could contact by phone to send a friendly message thanking them for their support of the choir ...   and invite them personally to our Concert.
I am still looking for a few places to billet Edmonton Choir men for June 15.  Ask a friend or relative maybe we will find some places that way.

Thank you for all your goodwill, hard work (selling tickets, bringing something for the RAFFLE BASKET ) - AS A CHOIR WE STICK TOGETHER AND HELP EACH OTHER TO ACHIEVE  SUCCESSFUL PERFORMANCES.
Herzlich
Marie-Louise
