Quadra Island trip – May (3), 4, 5, 6, (7)

I am happy to announce that our Maestro Dubravko will definitely direct the Swiss Choir on Quadra.

The following people are arriving on Thursday, May 3: Maja, Marie-Louise,

Karin, Alfred & Christel, Erna, Margaret, Elisabeth, Nancy

Arriving Friday, May 4

Andrea F, Anna-Marie, Dorli, Silvia, Ingrid, Marianne, Mirjam M, Andrea S., Maria L, Melanie, (Judy to join us on Quadra), Beat, Dubravko

Any additional choir members welcome

Accommodation at the Heriot Bay Inn made for those housing in the cabins – only people who request separate rooms have to make their own reservations. Cost $79 or $89 per night (1-888- 605-4545 ask for Lois)

Program:

Those arriving on Thursday have the day off as well as Friday – Possible visit to Cortez Island

7:00 pm Friday Fondue night at Edelweiss cabin for everyone

8:00 pm possible pub visit or Sing-along & Gemuetlichkeit in cabins

Saturday May 5:

8:00 – 9:30 Breakfast in cabins or Hotel

10:00 Visit at the Kellerhals Farm; Heather and Rolf invite us for a walk about on the beach and a simple lunch

1:00 – 3:00 Yodelclass for Island residents (choir members can attend)

4:00 Rehearsal in the Hall of Heriot Bay Inn – stage practice

6:00 Doors open for dinner

6:30 Dinner served – Swiss specialties will be on the the buffet

Need to submit recipes (our dinner will be at a reduced rate)

7:30 Choir performance possibly sing-along

Sunday May 6:

8:00 – 9:30 Breakfast in cabins or Hotel

10:15 Departure to Chapel for Yodel mass

11:00 Jodel Mass (United Church congregation of 150)

Leader of Congrgation will lead the service – we will sing

12:00 Lunch at Tsa-Kwa-Luten – We will be offered a Soup or salad Lunch at a reduced rate of $9.95

1:00 Choir performance (Sunday departure after - ferry close by)

( Heidi will issue cheques of $150 – Car pool & cabin accommodation fees collected ahead)
