My dear friends,
The other night our Vancouver Swiss choir conductor Maestro Dubravko started with us a well known song Ave verum corpus by Wolfgang Mozart. Yes, Mozart was indeed a great music composer and conductor. Our Swiss choir conductor maestro Dubravko, is trying very hard to improve the quality of our choir, which he has done already quite well. Since we are a Swiss choir, we do sing in German, French, Italian, Romansh and Swiss German. These are the languages spoken in Switzerland. At the moment we are rehearsing many songs for this years exciting events. We have at the moment approx.. 32 happy singers, blessed with a devoted choir president in Marie-Louise. But there is always room for new singers especially male voices.
Since I like this new spiritual song which we are practising, I went behind my computer in Google in searching for this song. I was looking for the great Italian singer Andrea Bocelli to sing it, but it was not available on you tube. So attached you find a nice choir singing it, directed by the great American composer Leonard Bernstein. So please enjoy this most beautiful song. It gives us so much peace in our heart and soul. One of the most beautiful pieces of music ever written.
Now, I wish your family and friends a blessed weekend.
Best wishes yours,
Alfredo
